ChangeMakers USA is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic new team member to jumpstart their career in Reputation Risk Management and Data Intelligence. Based in Washington, D.C., you’ll enjoy a hybrid schedule with both in-office and remote days each week, all while working under the tutelage of the brightest minds in the field. 

As the world looks to companies to take a stand on myriad social issues, the risk they face in doing so is greater than ever in our polarized world. The advent of social media and its power in circulating and amplifying extreme views can turn what feels like a minor comment into a firestorm of criticism toward a company, culture, or brand. Every day, ChangeMakers USA anticipates, navigates and creates changes in high-stakes environments. 

Responsibilities

  • Insightful client reporting that relays online activity within our Data Intelligence practice 
  • Reputation management (with a focus on crisis communications and risk) work, both proactive- and reactively 
  • Assistance with ad-hoc asks, whether from clients or internally – occasionally including support on nights or weekends 
  • Support with new business efforts with Data Intelligence research  
  • Communication with a diverse set of stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Coordinate with client-facing teams to track and troubleshoot needs as they arise.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college 
  • Extracting insights from media monitoring and/or reporting
  • A genuine commitment to learning, personal growth, and professional development 
  • A hard-working, entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to grow, learn and work – including on clients’ crisis needs at potentially odd hours 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to think on your feet and take appropriate action 
  • Problem-solving skills. You develop, own, and improve process
