REQUIRED:

-Bachelor's and/or Master's with 1 + years of professional experience within the operations, policy, consulting, project management or analytics environment

-Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese speaking required

-Market knowledge in language nuance, how users use their languages

-Being able to move from task to task while organized, may be working on escalations

Job Description:

Within Global Response Operations, Regional team’s goal is to reduce bad experiences for people—including businesses and advertisers—who use Client. We analyze global, local, and language-based trends and nuances and collaborate with other Client teams to make changes that help people form stronger, more meaningful connections using our platforms.

Market Specialists work collaboratively to create a safe environment for both users and businesses from their country on various platforms. They do this by using their deep and current understanding of social, political and historic events impacting the community they support. You will work with the Brazilian markets team to review content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, improve the overall support experience for that market, as well as solve thematic global issues. You will be part of a data-driven analysis culture and will also help scale our operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving problems and, most importantly, helping to prevent them.

This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material. I.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

On a typical day, a Market Specialist would:

• perform expert review on content and ads (including graphic content) on Client and Client against a set of guidelines called the Community Standards.

• In the unlikely event that the continuity of our business or elements of our business are at risk, a Market Specialist will be requested to support with the moderation of additional content (incl. content that may be graphic and objectionable)

• analyze data that comes out of such content or ad reviews and transform information into valuable operational insights for the community they support.

• identify opportunities to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the support provided to users/businesses based on their analyses.

• identify local insights and engage with a host of teams across Client to create a safer environment for users from the community they support.

• provide regular enforcement feedback to our vendors who moderate content on an everyday basis.

• collaborate cross market and cross org to understand impact of potential changes (e.g. product or policy changes) on wider community.

• understand, identify, and mitigate risks toward users & businesses on-platform.

• develop and share subject matter expertise across a range of abusive user behaviors and account integrity challenges at a global level.

  Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's or equivalent experience

• 1+ years of professional experience within the operations, policy, consulting, project management or analytics environment

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with graphic and objectionable content

• Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese will be required to translate and appreciate language nuances on our platform
