**NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY**

Position: High School SOCIAL STUDIES Teacher



Qualifications: Applicants must have specific endorsement in Social Studies and/or History. The primary focus of this position is high school social studies such as US Gov't, Am. History, World History, etc. Additional courses may include foreign language, Levels I & II, currently Spanish. However, having a foreign language endorsement is not a requirement for being considered a highly qualified applicant.


Applicants must possess a valid Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate or be in the process of obtaining one. Three years of experience teaching high school aged students preferred.



Salary: Depends on education and experience. A maximum of ten (10) years prior experience will be considered for placement on the salary schedule. $2,500 signing bonus
