Summary

The IT Program Manager for will oversee and manage complex IT projects within the healthcare sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific programs while ensuring these programs are on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to align program objectives with organizational strategy and to drive program success.

Your role in our mission

Program Planning and Strategy:

  • Define program objectives and develop comprehensive program plans.
  • Develop and maintain the program roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Program Execution and Management:

  • Oversee the execution of program plans, ensuring all projects within the program are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage interdependencies between projects.
  • Apply program governance standards and processes.
  • Monitor program progress and performance, identifying and managing risks and issues.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure program alignment and transparency.
  • Present regular program updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues that may impact project outcomes.

Resource Management:
Allocate resources across projects to ensure optimal utilization.

  • Manage program budgets and financials, including forecasting and tracking expenditures.
  • Ensure that resources are available and appropriately skilled to meet program needs.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor project managers and project teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
What we're looking for
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a program management role. Experience managing large-scale and complex programs, preferably in healthcare sector. Experience managing a facility’s implementation of an HER desirable.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) are highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Project.

The pay range for this position is $108,500.00 - $155,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
