We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to become an integral part of our team!. The hourly position of Manufacturing Assembly, Test and Repair Technician, reports directly to the Operations Manager. The primary account-abilities of this position are the assembly, setup, testing and repair of product on the manufacturing floor. Some interaction with customers pertaining to the diagnosis and repair of equipment in the field is also required. The ability to intelligently interface with other personnel, supervisors and managers to accomplish the monthly production goals is also expected.

Specific Responsibilities / Duties:

• Mechanical assembly of audio and video product on the manufacturing floor.
• Installation of firmware / software on products, both production and repair.
• Properly document stock requests and product build on requisitions and work orders.
• Performs variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, sub assemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using electronic test instruments.
• Performs repair of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components on failed systems. This may include the diagnosis and replacement of electronic components at a circuit board level.
• Performs functional final test per specifications on production and repaired product.
• Interfacing with customers via phone or email to assist with diagnosis and repair of failed equipment.

Education and Background:

• Two years minimum mechanical assembly experience
• Two years minimum electronics repair.
• Competency with computers and computer equipment
• High school education
• Electronics assembly desired.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
