Material Handler - Crane Operator
Our client in the steel production industry is seeking a hardworking individual to join their team as a Metal Shipping/Receiving personnel for the 3rd shift (12:30am to 9am) in Kaukauna, WI. As a Metal Shipping/Receiving personnel, you will work closely with the operator and assist in loading and unloading incoming/outgoing shipments of metal, transporting materials using 10-ton cranes and heavy-duty forklifts, and ensuring that the right number of pieces get pulled for customers and follow special instructions on production orders.

Job Title: Material Handler - Crane Operator

Location: Kaukauna, WI

Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 + per hour, depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Loading and unloading incoming/outgoing shipments of metal.
• Use of 10-ton cranes and heavy-duty forklifts to transport material.
• Make sure product is properly loaded, pry material over blocks, and strap materials down on flat bed trailers.
• Ensure the right number of pieces get pulled for customers and follow special instructions on production orders.
• Assist with moving materials throughout the manufacturing plant.

What's Needed?

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb up and down on a flat bed trailer.
• Previous forklift and/or crane operation experience.
• Pay attention to detail and follow directions.
• Knows how to read a tape measure.
