We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a PC Technician based in Houston, Texas. This role falls within the IT industry where your main focus will be on providing first-level support, managing ticketing systems, deploying hardware and software, and working with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary interface for initial troubleshooting of software, hardware, and telephony systems, ensuring issues are escalated to relevant IT specialists when necessary.
• Apply methodical analytical approaches to diagnose problems in desktop and network infrastructures.
• Manage and monitor the ticketing system to ensure timely responses and proper ticket assignment.
• Show proficiency in various applications including Cisco Communications, VPN software, Active Directory, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Handle troubleshooting for devices such as computers, printers, scanners, and telephones.
• Execute system upgrades, installations, and comprehensive hardware configurations in accordance with corporate IT standards.
• Implement strict hardware asset management protocols and enforce security policies including user account controls.
• Possess an understanding of network infrastructure components and enforce cybersecurity measures.
• Work with Microsoft Intune for device and application management across diverse mobile ecosystems.
• Conduct targeted technical research using specialized search engines to enhance troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proactively address pending service requests and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Perform additional responsibilities to support the IT department’s objectives.• Proficiency in Computer Hardware is essential
• Demonstrated experience with Database management
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies is required
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is a plus
• Proficiency in Linux Technologies is necessary
• Experience in AB Testing is beneficial
• Knowledge of Active Directory is required
• Ability to work with Apple Devices is necessary
• Experience with Backup Technologies is preferred
• Proficiency in Cable Installation is a must
