Job Description

Project Manager II, Mid-Level Greater Washington, DC Area Hybrid Position EM Key Solutions seeks a Mid-Level Project Manager for Personnel with experience in planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Duties: IV&V Leadership and Management: Provides comprehensive leadership and oversight for all IV&V activities, ensuring adherence to the project plan and budget and established quality standards (a-mm). Agile-Based IV&V Plan Development: Leading the creation of a comprehensive IV&V plan aligned with Agile development methodologies. This plan will detail the activities to be undertaken, roles and responsibilities of team members, testing strategies, and success criteria. Integration Testing Oversight: Supervise and ensure the successful execution of integration testing, verifying that different system components function seamlessly together and meet overall system requirements. Test Environment Management: Oversees the creation and maintenance of a suitable test environment that accurately reflects the operational environment and provides the necessary resources for effective testing. Staff Management and Project Timeline Adherence: Provide leadership and direction to the assigned IV&V team, including performance management and skill development, and ensure tasks are completed within the established project timeline. Project Initiation and Kick-off Meeting: Facilitate the initial project meeting to introduce the team, establish communication channels, and present the overall IV&V plan and project schedule. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in hands-on Project Management PMI-PMP Certification desired Clearance: Public Trust or equivalent clearance is desired.
