SCOPE: Manage the activities of the Quality Assurance departmental function at the division level. Lead continuous growth of the Quality department and Quality Management System and Environmental Management System to ensure compliance to regulatory standards and enhance customer satisfaction. Drive quality expectations throughout the organization to achieve top level performance. Maintain strong customer faith and loyalty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct, coach, mentor, and develop employees in Quality Assurance.
2. Facilitate problem resolution activities to exceed customer expectations.
3. Coordinate timely completion of PPAP submission in Q.A. out of Grand Ave. plant.
4. Ensure operating systems maintain compliance to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
5. Enhance process controls through statistical data applications and analysis.
6. Provide an active role in new supplier evaluation and selection process.
7. Manage outside sorting requirements to ensure cost effective results.
8. Develop, monitor and communicate Cost of Quality performance and facilitate improvement activities.
9. Ensure department cost control.
10. Identify, research, proposal and implement CAPEX equipment requirements.
11. Responsible for all related duties on their process turtle and applicable customer requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Quality Engineering or related engineering field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience with 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated working experience with Kaizen, Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Display strong leadership qualities by being a role model through establishing departmental standards and creating teamwork.
