Modern Group is looking for technicians to service our existing client base, we are offering a *$3,000 signing bonus for all qualified technicians*!

Essential Duties:

• As a Forklift Mechanic/Road Technician, you will travel to customer locations in company service vehicle, diagnose problems and make repairs.
• This position requires experience with forklift/automobile maintenance and repair (Electric, IC, LP & Diesel systems) as well as experience with hand tools and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Participate in Modern Group's in-house training classes.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain all systems on all makes and models of forklifts and various types of material handling equipment.
• Bring your CAN-DO attitude and desire to learn and train with a company with 78 years forklift experience.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Previous experience in forklift, automotive or engine repair.
• Forklift experience preferred but not necessary .
• Excellent customer service and organization skills
• Automotive experience is valued.
• Career oriented
• Stable job history
• Self-motivated
• Basic hand tools
• Clean driving record
• If you have mechanical aptitude, Modern will train you as a forklift technician.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with no supervision.
• Possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
