Position: SAP FICO Consultant AMS Support

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant AMS Support to join our SAP support team. The ideal candidate will provide daily operational and functional support for the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) modules in a production environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, deep functional knowledge, and the ability to work with business users and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support for SAP FICO-related issues (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.)
• Monitor and resolve incident tickets and service requests within agreed SLA timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend long-term fixes.
• Support period-end and year-end closing activities (e.g., balance sheet reconciliation, cost allocations).
• Collaborate with technical teams to manage enhancements, customizations, and transport movements.
• Coordinate with business users to gather requirements for minor enhancements or change requests.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and documentation for support tickets and changes.
• Assist with master data issues, interface errors, and integration with MM, SD, HCM, and other modules.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and internal controls.
• Monitor batch jobs, workflows, and background processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
• Decent level of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 2+ years in AMS or support projects.
• Strong understanding of FICO integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or HP ALM.
• Exposure to support environments in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets and tasks simultaneously.
