Top 3-5 Technical Skills - DevOps/Cloud experience
- Single Sign On (SSO)/ Identity Access Management (IAMS) experience - OKTA experience OR Experience with M365 and Azure Services. He has BOTH needs on the team.
- Experience Managing Security and Authentication Policies in Azure
Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD Connect
Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities - we have several contractors working in the cloud security group and they are implementing SSO/ OKTA and expanding their use of Azure Services
Work Experience: Working with clients and supporting divisions within the organization to identify opportunities for integration patterns with Okta
Working with Information Security and Application Development teams to document best practices and decision criteria for moving applications from session and cookie-based authentication and authorization to OIDC and OAuth based authentication and authorization
Leverage ServiceNow ticketing procedures to support and resolve client inquiries, requests and problems related to the Okta platform and Azure/M365 services
Review documented patterns with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment to enterprise standards
What Would Be Nice to Have: Okta /Azure Certifications (Professional, Administrator, Consultant, or Developer)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD implementation
Experience syncing identities from Active Directory or other sources into a cloud-based universal directory
Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) IaaS and PaaS providers
Prepare technical standards, provide technical advice and guidance, and collaborate with other programmers to conceptualize and develop design
Technical Skills: Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in MIS related discipline
At least 8 years' relevant experience in hands on integration of applications using modern protocols (i.e., SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM)
Experience with IAM systems - ADFS, Okta, Azure AD, Active Directory
Understanding of various authentication factors and risk-based authentication
Understanding of different access models RBAC, ABAC, GBAC
Understanding of LDAP queries, SQL and KQL
Experience Managing Security and Authentication Policies in Azure
Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD Connect
Knowledge of other authentication protocols - Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, Basic
