**Description**

Star Tribune has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Media Buyer! The primary responsibility of the Senior Digital Media Buyer is to set up digital media campaigns for owned and operated, and Advantage digital campaigns. A successful digital media campaign will achieve or exceed delivery and performance based on KPIs outlined by clients and communicated to the buyer.

**Responsibilities**

* Oversee the development and implementation of digital media campaigns across various buying platforms

* Monitor digital media campaigns within multiple DSPs daily

* Optimize toward established KPIs during the life of a campaign

* Pull data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations to take to strategists and digital leads

* Lead interdepartmental trainings and oversee the onboarding of new hires

* Maintain relationships with current vendors and research new product offerings

* Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests as assigned

* Research and stay abreast of current industry best practices and trends, develop and maintain digital best practices, and promote digital optimization techniques

**Requirements**

* Bachelors degree in related field and/or certification; or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience

* Three years of working experience utilizing Real-Time Bidding technologies (DSPs, Ad Exchanges, SSPs)

* Proven track record of successfully managing complex client campaigns and relationships against performance metrics

* Ad trafficking experience utilizing platforms such as Facebook, GDN, etc.

* Experience with Google Ad Manager or other ad serving technology

* DoubleClick Campaign Manager/DoubleClick Bid Manager and Google Analytics certifications are preferred but not required

* Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the industry, development processes and business priorities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
