Job Title: Vascular SurgeonLocation: VA Capital Health Care Network Introduction:Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Vascular Surgeons to partner with us in providing temporary contracted medical services within the Veteran Affairs Healthcare Systems throughout the United States. Today's posting will place you at the primary location of the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. Johnson VA Medical Center Location: United States, Clarksburg, WVQualifications:EducationDegree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completedPhysicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in Vascular Surgery in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certificationBoard CertificationCompletion of an accredited vascular surgery program in the United States and be board certified in vascular surgeryLicenseCurrent, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Must be board-certified to qualifyDEA License Required NPI Required ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of current experience, actively practicing in specialty, post-board certificationCertificationCurrent, valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS requiredBenefits:Virtual Interviews Variable of locations throughout the United States. Contract: Year-long assignment Hours of Performance: Duty hours will vary by position and location; however, typical duty hours are scheduled between 0700 -1700, Monday through Friday.
