Location: New York, NY (10016)
Job Type: Contract (2 Months)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $20/hour (W2)
Experience: Entry-level; no prior experience required

We are seeking an X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will operate radiologic imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality diagnostic standards. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to build their careers in radiologic technology.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and optimal image quality.
• Educate and guide patients through procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure risks.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with imaging protocols.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions as needed.
• Manage radiology supply inventory and restock as required.
• Comply with infection control and workplace safety regulations.
• Stay updated with continuing education and industry best practices.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as needed.

✔ Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
✔ New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
✔ ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment

• Experience in orthopedic imaging (preferred, not required)
